On Camp Activities

Mini- Golf Course
Test your skills on our 9 hole putt-putt golf course. 
This activity is a favorite for both kids and adults!
 

Lake
We have a small lake with several canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats.  We have a few fishing poles as well.  In the winter, our lake turns into a wonderful world of ice.  Ice skates, broomball, and hockey are all available for your group in the winter.

Zip Line                
Zip down across 1000 ft of pure excitement.  For $100 per hour (approximately 20-30 participants/hour), this activity is always a blast!  Prior arrangements must be made.

Climbing Wall
Climb 40 ft and try several different routes.  For $100 per hour, you can test your strength and agility. Prior arrangements must be made.
 

High Ropes Course
The High Ropes Course includes 6 gravity defying elements.  This activity is available at an extra cost of $130 per hour (approximately 10-15 participants/hour).  If you are interested in this, contact us and make prior arrangements.

Low Ropes Course
The Low Ropes Course provides a progressive series of team building activities that enable the students and/or adults to develop trust in each other, solve problems together, and develop communication skills.  This is a great activity for all ages and is a highly effective tool to build community.  The cost is $50 per hour for each group of 5-20 participants.

Sports Courts
We have basketball and volleyball courts available outside.  These areas are open year round depending on weather.

Mountain Biking
We have several mountain bikes available at a cost of $25 per hour for biking around the camp or test your skills by going on a guided bike trip off camp for $100 per hour.

Friendship Hall
This building has a game room with 2 Ping-Pong tables, 2 Pool Tables, Foosball, Air Hockey, and Carpet Ball (a camp favorite).  The other side of the building houses a large meeting space with stone fireplace that can be reserved by guest groups.

Playing Field
We have a large playing field with a beautiful view of the Twin Sisters peaks that is great for soccer, baseball, or other large group games.

Frisbee Golf
Our Frisbee golf course winds through the woods across the camp property.  Maps and Frisbees are available.

Playground
A large playground sits in the center of camp.  It includes a big toy with slide and monkey bars, swing set, tether ball, and horseshoe pit.

Hiking
We have several short trails on our property.  We also are within a few minutes of Rocky Mountain National Park which has hundreds of hiking options available.

Off Camp Activities

Rocky Mountain National Park
Covenant Heights is located just minutes away from Rocky Mountain National Park.  There are dozens of activity options in the park including hiking, rock climbing, scenic drives, and more.

White Water Rafting
There are many companies that offer white water rafting in our general area.  Ask for information on any of these rafting companies.
 

Horseback Riding
Estes Park has many options for horseback riding.  There are rides in Rocky Mountain National Park and many around the Estes Park area.  The Allenspark Livery is located just 10 minutes from camp and offers a variety of rodes.  Visit there website at www.allensparklivery.com.

Snowshoeing
This is a popular activity during the winter months.  There are many trails throughout Rocky Mountain National Park.  Rental snowshoes are available from several gear shops in Estes Park. 

Golfing
Estes Park has two wonderful courses for those who want to swing the irons in a beautiful mountain setting.  The elevation even increases driving distances!

Amusement Parks
From Go-Carts to Mini-Golf to Arcades, Estes Park has a lot to offer in the area of amusements.  There is even a Giant Slide and a Tram to the top of Prospect Mountain.

Swimming
The Estes Park Aquatic Center offers open swim times all summer and throughout the year.  Call and ask for more specific information.  Arrangements must be made in advance with the Aquatic Center for large groups.

Eldora Ski Resort
Eldora Ski Resort is just an hour from Covenant Heights.  Enjoy yourself on one of the great slopes of Colorado.  Group rates are available.  Call for more information.
