Responsibilities

 

• Serve as Lifeguard whenever groups are using the boats at the lake
• Make sure the boathouse is kept neat and clean
• Help out in other areas when not serving as Lifeguard (mostly housekeeping)
• Assist with camper registration on Sunday afternoons
• Be friendly, patient, polite and courteous with campers, staff and guests
• Maintain daily prayer and quiet times for personal spiritual growth
• Attend all staff meetings, Bible studies and prayer times
• Act responsible and mature at all times

Accountability

• Be accountable to the Program Directors and Executive Director

Qualifications

• Be a person who has personally accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and shows evidence of Christian growth and maturity
• Desire to share your faith with others and seek opportunities to do so
• Willing to work hard and serve God through serving people
• Be able to show Jesus Christ through your attitude, actions, and reactions
• Have the ability to work well with others and be a positive role model
• Have lifeguard certification or be able to obtain it
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• First Aid and CPR required; training provided
