Kitchen Lead Cook
Position Description

Start Date: May 27th 2008
End Date: August 2nd 2008

Responsibilities

 

  • Prepare food for meals; see that all food is put out on time and at the correct temperature
  • Bring out more food when necessary during meals
  • Clean up after meals and put food away
  • Check inventory for future meals
  • Constantly check every area of kitchen for cleanliness
  • Be friendly, patient, polite and courteous with campers, staff and guests
  • Maintain daily prayer and quiet times for personal spiritual growth
  • Attend all staff meetings, Bible studies and prayer times
  • Act responsible and mature at all times


Accountability

 

  • Be accountable to the Kitchen Director and Executive Director


Qualifications

  • Be a person who has personally accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and shows evidence of Christian growth and maturity
  • Desire to share your faith with others and seek opportunities to do so
  • Willing to work hard and serve God through serving people
  • Be able to show Jesus Christ through your attitude, actions, and reactions
  • Have the ability to work well with others and be a positive role model
  • Have general knowledge and practice of good health and hygiene principles
  • Be at least 18 years of age
