of Covenant Heights


Purpose
Covenant Heights Camp & Retreat Center exists to glorify God by serving the Front Range Churches of the Midwest Evangelical Covenant Church and other guest groups by providing spiritual, inspirational, and educational opportunities for personal growth.

Values
The values that govern the operations of Covenant Heights Camp & Retreat Center are:

  • That we value the ministry and purpose of the Midwest Evangelical Conference and uphold the Statement of Faith of the Evangelical Covenant Church
  • We believe that all business and financial matters shall be accomplished with honesty and integrity.
  • We believe that all of creation in God created and given to man to care for.  Our responsibility is to teach and promote stewardship and care.
  • We value the benefits of the camping experience for all ages.
  • We believe in providing the very best guest-centered service.

Vision
Covenant Heights Camp & Retreat Center has a vision for the future that includes:

  • Provision for a summer long schedule of Covenant youth and family camps.
  • Provision of facilities and services for Retreats and Conferences to meet the needs to Covenant and other guest groups.
  • Development and provision of Adventure Programs that reach worldwide.
  • Development and provision of an Outdoor Education Program that serves public and private schools and operated September through May.

Mission
The mission of Covenant Heights Camp & Retreat Center is to:

  • Plan and provide Camping Programs for all ages with the primary objective of making disciples of Jesus Christ.
  • Provide available facilities and staff services to guest groups with the primary objective of providing opportunities for spiritual, inspirational and educational growth.
  • Plan and provide Wilderness and Travel Adventure Programs with the primary objective of using the Adventure experience for personal growth.
  • Plan and provide Outdoor Education Programs for public and private schools with the primary objective of providing environmentally based educational opportunities for personal growth.
